I am currently taking new clients as a psychotherapist under the supervision of Benjamin Grysman, Ph.D., at Queens Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Psychology, PLLC, in Queens, NY. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker working mostly with adults of all ages, to help them navigate the obstacles they are facing and to help them live more fulfilling lives.
My work often focuses on treating symptoms related to depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. I frequently work with people experiencing life transitions and when treating patients, I combine cognitive-behavioral therapy with psychoanalytic psychotherapeutic approaches.
I am non-judgmental, empathetic, and a good listener. If we work together, chances are that we will together build a safe space for healing. Patients often tell me that they feel at ease with me shortly after our first sessions, and I am privileged to have formed strong therapeutic alliances with many of them. And while I do find these alliances gratifying, as a practitioner, I do not intend them to be permanent (at least from an active standpoint). Nothing makes me happier than when a patient has experienced the healing and grown the strength and the skills to move on from psychotherapy.
I speak fluent English, Swedish, and Polish. Working with a richly diverse base of patients is something I very much enjoy
